Storage Fees

VAT-free storage fees are charged at 0.65% + VAT per annum of the Annual Insurance Value of your total metal holding. There is a minimum charge equivalent to £10 per month. Charges are billed monthly in arrears.

Standard storage fees

^* Average Insurance Value of holding is calculated based on the pure precious metal weight of your holding multiplied by the average London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) PM Fix. This is then uplifted by the percentage premium you originally paid for your specific products at Gold.co.uk.

You can add to your holdings at any time and will only be charged one fee based on the total value of your holdings. You can request delivery of sell back part or all of your holdings by contacting us on 0121 369 3000.

Request delivery of your silver

You can request physical delivery of your VAT-Free Silver stored with Brink’s Zurich. When you request to have your silver delivered VAT will become payable. We will arrange and collect the VAT prior to shipping your silver. The amount of VAT payable will be based on the current net price of the goods you want delivered as published on the website you originally purchased your goods. The net price incorporates the current metal price and the current product sales premium.

When requesting delivery from storage for VAT-Free Silver, you will be presented with two options as detailed below:

Option 1 - Delivery of allocated goods from Switzerland. Please call us on 0121 369 3000 for a personalised delivery quote.

Option 2 - Delivery of equivalent goods from our UK vaults (subject to UK stock availability). Shipping will be charged at a fixed delivery fee of £25 + VAT (£5) + a handling fee (0.35% of the current spot price value of the goods + VAT).

Simply call 0121 369 3000 during office hours to request delivery and we will make the arrangements for you. Delivery is only available to your pre-specified linked account address.

VAT charge upon delivery

When you request to have your silver delivered VAT will become payable. We will arrange and collect the VAT prior to shipping your silver. For further information on how the VAT will be calculated please refer to the VAT-free FAQ's section for further details.

Sell your silver back to us

When you sell your silver back to us, extraction from the vault is free. We buy back VAT-free silver from storage at a rate of 97% of the global market spot price for silver at the time of sale.

Payments are made by bank transfer into your linked account. Same day chaps payment is charged at £30. See the table below or contact us 0121 369 3000 during office hours for our current buying prices.
