At Gold.co.uk all parcels are dispatched in secure, discreet and unbranded packaging. All orders are fully insured for the value of the contents during transit. We only deliver to the UK and Northern Ireland. All parcels over £40 will get a proof of delivery upon receipt in the form of a photo, signature and/or GPS coordinates.
We dispatch orders via Royal Mail (some heavier silver orders may be sent with UPS due to weight restrictions with Royal Mail). We deliver all over the UK, as well as shipping to the Channel Islands of Jersey and Guernsey. Listed below are our current delivery options, as well as current estimates on how long deliveries should take.
Orders will typically be dispatched the same day as long as cleared funds are received before 3pm / 15:00 at the latest. ID validation may delay the dispatch of your order, and we recommend ordering as early as possible if you require same-day dispatch.
All orders with funds received after the 15:00 cut-off time will be dispatched the following day, subject to any advised delays on the homepage. We dispatch on weekdays only - orders placed over the weekend will be processed the following working day. If you would prefer to arrange a more convenient delivery date please get in touch prior to placing your order and one of our support team will be able to help you.
Order dispatches are confirmed at roughly 19:00 each evening Monday to Friday. We will send you an email at this time to confirm the dispatch of your parcel, and this email will also include tracking details (orders over £40 only) so you can monitor the progress of your parcel.
Rural Scotland:
For customers based in areas such as the Scottish Highlands, the Outer Hebrides, and other rural or remote areas, it may take longer to receive Next Day orders and additional time for standard insured postage due to the transport logistics involved.
Channel Islands:
Orders for Jersey and Guernsey may be subject to import taxes or duties, as set by each individual government. Due to changes to Royal Mail deliveries in Jersey, we can no longer offer Next Day deliveries in this region. Deliveries are expected to take two working days following the day of posting.
Customers having items delivered to an address in Jersey will have to pay 5% goods and services tax (GST) on all products and delivery costs (where paid).
Why am I being charged GST?
Goods and Services Tax (GST) is a tax on sales of goods and services in Jersey. GST is charged at 5% on most goods and services including Bullion and Coins. As an importer of goods into Jersey we are legally required to charge GST on our products.
Why are you charging GST on items below the de minimis amount?
As a large retailer we must charge GST on all sales, not just those above the current minimis limit of £60.
If I am a GST registered trader, can I reclaim the GST paid?
Yes, you can reclaim the GST paid importing the goods into Jersey. Further information is available here: https://www.customs.gst.gov.je/

1. FREE Insured Next Working Day Delivery (orders over £2,000)
Sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery, this includes shipping, packing and insurance for orders over the value of £2,000. Orders over £50,000 will be dispatched in separate parcels on consecutive days. You will receive a dispatch confirmation at approximately 19:00 the day the parcel is sent containing your tracking number. Please expect this delivery by 13:00 the following day.
Orders under £2,000 can upgrade to Special Delivery, at a cost of £14.95, should they wish at checkout.
For orders exceeding £50,000 we have a bespoke service available to ensure a secure home delivery. If the specialist courier is used for your order, this will be communicated to you by our customer support team, and details on the delivery date and time will be supplied to you ahead of the delivery.
2. FREE Insured Tracked & Signed 24hrs (orders from £150 to £1,999.99)
Free insured delivery with Royal Mail Tracked & Signed 24hrs service is included for orders between £150 - £999.99. This delivery option is fully insured. This service will typically arrive within 24 hours of dispatch.
3. FREE Insured Tracked 24 (orders from £40 to £150)
Free insured delivery with Royal Mail Tracked 24hrs service is included for orders between £0 - £149.99. This delivery option is fully insured. This service will typically arrive within 24 hours of dispatch.
4. FREE 1st Class Delivery (orders under £40)
Orders below £40 will be sent via Royal Mail's 1st Class delivery service. This service will typically take 1 - 3 working days to arrive, but can take longer in some instances.
