Produced by the United States Mint, the 2021 American 1oz Eagle Type II gold coin is the first design refresh for the classic US bullion coin series since 1986. Struck in 22 carat gold (.9167) it contains 31.103 grams of pure gold.
The obverse side of the coin features the traditional ‘Walking Liberty’ design whilst the reverse side features the stunning new Type 2 design by artist Jennie Norris. As the first year of issue for this design, investors and collectors will almost certainly be keen to secure their own 2021 Type 2 gold Eagle.
