Description

The 2025 1oz Silver Royal Arms coin from The Royal Mint features the official coat of arms of the British monarch, designed by heraldic artist Timothy Noad. The reverse includes the quartered shield representing England, Scotland, Ireland, and Wales, supported by a crowned lion and a unicorn, with a ribbon displaying the mottoes "Dieu et mon droit" and "Honi soit qui mal y pense". This will be the final year that this specific interpretation of the Royal Arms, first introduced in 2019, will appear on the coin, as future editions will feature a new design specifically created for King Charles III.

Struck in one troy ounce of 999 fine silver, the coin has a face value of £2 and is exempt from Capital Gains Tax (CGT) for UK investors. The obverse bears the portrait of King Charles III by Martin Jennings.
