1oz Silver Black Panther (2018)

This is the One Ounce Silver Black Panther Coin from Marvel™; the third in the series of fine silver coins. There will only be 50,000 of these coins made, so will be snapped up by collectors.

Perth Mint are the makers of many fine series of coins and this is no exception - they have produced the Marvel series on behalf of Tuvalu - a Polynesian island nation in the Pacific Ocean, formerly known as Ellice Islands.

The 1oz coin is Fine Silver (999.9) and measures 40.6mm in diameter, so it shows off its detail quite well (just like most Perth Mint coins).

The obverse features Queen Elizabeth II's portrait by Ian Rank-Broadley and the reverse of the coin contains a large image of the original Thor surrounded by a background of a lightning bolt. The Marvel™ and the Black Panther logos are displayed along with a copyright mark for Marvel™ to indicate that this is an authorised product.
