Presenting the Gold BU Coronation Five-Sovereign Piece, also known as the Quintuple Sovereign, is a commemorative coin honouring the historic crowning of His Majesty King Charles III at Westminster Abbey on May 6, 2023.

This exquisite coin marks the beginning of a new royal era for the United Kingdom. The obverse side showcases a crowned portrait of The King, designed by Martin Jennings for The Royal Mint. On the reverse side, you will find the classic St George and the dragon design by Benedetto Pistrucci, continuing the long-standing tradition of this imagery on The Sovereign coin going back to King George III in 1870.

The Gold £5 Coronation Sovereign is presented in its original Royal Mint box along with a booklet that describes the history of the coronation ceremony and the lifelong journey of the King to this point.
