Yale of Beaufort- 1Kg Tudor Beasts Proof Silver Coin Boxed (2023)

The third Proof release in the new Royal Tudor Beasts Collection from The Royal Mint - the 2023 Yale of Beaufort Proof 1Kg silver coin. Like the Queen's Beasts series, the collection will feature 10 'Beasts', this time consisting of statues that line the Moat Bridge at Hampton Court.

The Yale of Beaufort is one of the most distinctive beasts in this series. It is similar to a goat but has the tusks of a wild boar and the tail of a lion. This statue also bears a shield with the arms of Jane Seymour, Henry VIII's third wife.

The coin has a denomination of £500 and it contains a kilo (1000g) of fine silver. The 999 silver coin comes in a specially designed display case with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity guaranteeing its limited edition. It also comes with a special booklet, and is provided in the original Royal Mint outer box.
