Description

A Royal Mint gold proof £5 coin (which can also be known as a Quintuple Sovereign or a Crown) produced to celebrate the 100th Birthday of Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon, the Queen Mother.

The reverse of this coin features a special design from Ian Rank-Broadley (who also designed the third head pressed into the obverse) and contains the text "Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother 1900 - 2000 Five Pounds"

This Five Pound Proof gold coin is provided in its red, felt-lined, Royal Mint box, along with its certificate of authenticity. Only 3,000 of these sets were produced.
