Description

The one ounce platinum 2021 White Horse of Hanover coin is produced by The Royal Mint.

This beautiful coin is the ninth of a series of ten that feature the "Queen's Beasts". Based on the 10 statues which stood guard for the Queen's Coronation, sculpted by James Woodford RA in 1953, each one representing an emblem from the various houses in the Queen's linage.

This 2021 1oz platinum coin features White Horse of Hanover. The horse is taken from the coat of arms of the house of Hanover, however when George I became king of Britain the traditional galloping horse was represented as rearing above the coat of arms to mirror the traditional depiction of Kentish horses.

The coin is 99.95 pure platinum and weighs exactly one ounce (31.103 grams). Just like other British currency, it is exempt of any Capital Gains Tax and is available for either secure vaulting or fully insured delivery.
