The Seymour Unicorn, a symbolic representation of purity and fertility, was bestowed upon Jane Seymour by Henry VIII. It has a distinctive amalgamation of a horse's body, lion's tail, goat's hooves and goat's beard along with a spiralled horn. The Unicorn also bears a 6-quartered shield representing the Seymour family and bears a royal coronet complemented by a gold collar and chain symbolizing the taming of a wild creature.
