Produced by the United States Mint, the 2021 tenth ounce American Eagle Type II gold coin is the first design refresh for the classic US bullion coin series since 1986. Struck in 22 carat gold (916.7 fineness) it contains 3.1 grams of pure gold.
The obverse side of the coin features the traditional ‘Walking Liberty’ design whilst the reverse side features the stunning new Type 2 design by artist Jennie Norris. As the first year of issue for this design, investors and collectors will almost certainly be keen to secure their own 2021 Type 2 1/10oz gold Eagle.
