Description

The One Ounce gold White Lion of Mortimer is the eighth coin in a series of coins produced by the Royal Mint called "the Queen's Beasts". The Queen's Beasts are a set of statues which guarded Queen Elizabeth II during her coronation. The White Lion of Mortimer is 1oz of fine gold (999.9 purity).

The White Lion of Mortimer is a beast inherited by the Queen from Edward IV of the House of York and it was a favoured symbol of King George VI - Queen Elizabeth II's father - prior to his coronation.

Just like other British currency, this coin will be also be exempt of any Capital Gains Tax and VAT and available for secure vaulting or fully insured delivery.
