Description

A 8 gram Chinese Panda gold coin with a face value of 100 Yuan minted in 2022.

The obverse side of the Chinese panda coin features the Temple of Heaven in Beijing, a reference to the People’s Republic of China in Chinese and the year the coin was minted. The reverse side depicts a portrait of two pandas playing in the snow references to the gold purity (.9999) and the weight of the fine gold content (8 grams).

This year marks a special year for collectors of these coins as it is the 40th anniversary of their launch. The snow in the design is also a celebration of the 24th Winter Olympic Games being held in Beijing in February.
