This is the second version of the Queen Victoria Gold Sovereign, which first appeared in her Jubilee year of 1887 and continued until 1893; it is commonly known as the "Jubilee Sovereign". The reverse of the coin has the standard George and Dragon design.
Gold Sovereigns contain 7.98 grams of 22-carat gold. As British currency, the Sovereign has the advantage for larger UK investors of being CGT exempt. And just like other investable gold, this coin will be also be exempt of any VAT and available for immediate secure vaulting or fully insured delivery.
