A gold Sovereign featuring the second portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. This Sovereign will feature a random date between 1974 and 1984, with the exception of 1975 and 1977 where no Sovereigns were produced. Only proof coins were issued for a number of these years.

Gold Sovereigns contain 7.98 grams of 22-carat gold. As British currency, the Sovereign has the advantage for larger UK investors of being CGT exempt.
