Description

This is a Queen Elizabeth the Second Gold Full Sovereign, struck by the Royal Mint in 1980.

You will receive a 22 carat gold coin, weighing 7.98 grams (with a pure gold weight of 7.315grams). The small size makes it an ideal coin for investors or collectors who want to own small units of gold that are easy to acquire, or to sell when needed. The coin features the 'decimal head' design of Elizabeth II on the obverse and the classic design of St. George slaying the dragon by the 19th Century Italian master engraver, Benedetto Pistrucci on the reverse.
