
Our website will be up and running as usual over the May bank holiday, so you can still place your orders anytime. We’ll process and dispatch them in line with our usual guidelines, including any dispatch delays communicated on the site — and as always, we’ll do our best to get your order to you as quickly as possible.
Our customer service team will be unavailable on Monday 5th May 2025.
We will resume normal service on Tuesday 6th May. If you need to get in touch during the bank holiday, please email us on support@gold.co.uk, and we will reach out to you on our return. If you call us on 0121 369 3000 you will also be able to leave a message with our answering service.
Our office will also be closed during the bank holiday weekend, and customers will be unable to visit us for buying or selling in person.
Dispatch and Bank Holiday Delivery Dates
Please note there will be no order dispatches or deliveries on Monday 5th May 2025. The last dispatch date before the bank holiday is Friday 2nd May.
- Orders over £800 are sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery, which is expected to arrive by 1pm the next working day after dispatch. (Orders dispatched on Friday 2nd May are likely to arrive on Saturday 3rd May.)
- Orders from £40 to £799.99 are sent via Royal Mail Tracked 24 which typically arrives the next working day after dispatch. However, as this is not a guaranteed service, parcels dispatched on Friday 2nd May may not arrive on Saturday 3rd May. You may upgrade your order to Special Delivery in the checkout for £7.50.
- Orders less than £40 are sent via Royal Mail 1st Class, and will typically arrive 1 - 5 working days after the day of dispatch.
To ensure your parcel arrives before the bank holiday weekend, we recommend placing your order as early as possible.
Please remember that orders must be fully completed, paid for, and in stock to meet the dispatch dates outlined above. Any orders placed after the cut off, or those requiring ID verification, may not be dispatched until after the bank holiday. During periods of high demand, please refer to the banner at the top of our website for up-to-date dispatch times.
